Self-supporting graduate professional degree programs (SSGPDPs) at the University of California, Berkeley facilitate the enrollment of additional students beyond those supported by state resources. These programs address higher education and workforce demands by catering to diverse populations, such as full-time employees, mid-career professionals, international students with specific career objectives, and students whose professional education is supported by their employers. Notably, many SSGPDPs offer alternative delivery modes, including online or hybrid instruction, flexible scheduling options (e.g., evenings, weekends, and summers), and/or alternative locations (e.g., off-campus).
